About Us
Kayak Adventure

Join a team of expert guides for a dynamic paddling adventure on two-person kayaks through Yucatán mangrove swamp before relaxing beachside along the picturesque Gulf of Mexico. The day begins with a 45-minute motor coach ride through the center of Progreso and across Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula to a kayak launch. Here you’ll meet a friendly and professional group of guides who will over safety instructions and your kayaking gear before heading out on the water. Once you’ve settled into your kayak, paddle your way over calm, shallow waters near the coast and listen along as your guide shares about the area’s local ecosystem. Learn the unique distinctions between red and black mangroves and keep your eyes peeled for native wildlife — the lagoon is a popular nesting grounds for seabirds. After your kayak trip you’ll enjoy some seaside relaxation at a local beach club, where you can spend about an hour soaking up the sun, swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, sipping cocktails or dining on Mexican cuisine before heading back to the ship.
